A Card...Finally

I finally sat down and created a couple of cards.
It feels so good to create a card...so splendid!

I used a Mojo Monday sketch to inspire my first card...I flipped the sketch a bit but I like how it turned out.

Then a couple more cards...using the same style and handmade embellishment inspired by this great project by Redoux Interiors
Joy Sign on Cabinet Door t Redouxinteriors.

A Christmas card after Christmas.
I wasn't able to create any new Christmas cards this year and I was bummed.
So I made one after....very simple color scheme but turned out elegant.

Last Minute Christmas DIY

Every have a day that was just a D.I.Y. kind of day.
For me and my family that day just happened to be a few days before Christmas.
Here are a few pictures and I tried to link up to where I found the tutorial or idea for most of the projects.

This fun hanging Mason Jar wall decor I created for my sister.
This year we did a handmade gift exchange and I knew I wanted to make her something she could use daily.

I found the piece of fencing abandoned on the side of the road.
Then I sanded the rough edges out and painted using a YMC Stencil.
Then we added clamps & mason jars.

These little mice I remember making them with my mom.
So this year I made them with my kiddos.

These ornaments were created using a tutorial from Little Pink Studio

I had a few of these Martha Stewart notebooks laying around that I never got around to decorating.
So I combined them with some of my wooden name tags from past Queen Bee Markets.

This fun wreath I created for my craft shack.
I made it out of a straw wreath and a sweater filled with holes.

These frames I had so much fun creating!
I used some wood canvas blanks from Walmart then painted them and added the clothespins & burlap for embellishments.

Nothing like squeezing a week's worth of DIY projects into one day.
Need a tutorial on any of these just comment and I'll oblige.

Conscious Box Review

I recently discovered Conscious Box and this was my first month.
The box arrived quickly and very well packaged.

And when I opened the box I was surprised by how packed the box was.
And inside:

Coffee from The Source Coffee Company

Grandma's Lye Soap (already used this soap and its great)

Natural Sweetener

Supplements...looking forward to using them.

yep...ate both of these already...great
The NibMor bar was sooooo tasty!

Saving this for New Years!

This was by far my favorite item from the box.
The little salve has an amazing scent and I've already applied it to my son's dry skin
(living in So Cal during Santa Ana weather).
Within a couple of days his patch of dryness has already gone away!!  Love this stuff!

Then a bunch of smaller samples and coupons.
Great composting plastic bag and the baby wipe was really fresh!

I really enjoyed my first Conscious Box and I am looking forward to the next one.

Friday Favorite: Sew Silly Baby Review & Giveaway

I am so excited to bring you this Friday's favorite review & giveaway.
This shop is filled with amazingly handcrafted wallets, coin purses, bags, pouches and more.
I fell in love with the shop when I stumbled upon it on Etsy and I'm so happy to introduce my favorites to you today.

Amanda sent me a few lovelies to share with you this week.
Isn't this sweet little coin purse just lovely!
It's even lined....amazingly made and such attention to detail.

This is my favorite item that I had the pleasure to review.
The colors are just so me and you can't tell from the pictures but the texture on the wristlet is like a light linen.
One of my biggest pet peeves is when the zipper is flimsy and falls apart after a few uses.
This wristlet has an amazingly sturdy zipper and I was thrilled to use it over and over again without any complications!

Check out some of my favorites from the Sew Silly Baby shop.

Now for the prize...this gorgeous card wallet from Sew Silly Baby.
I love this piece....look at the fun shape and gorgeous pattern.
Wanna win it?  You'll find the rafflecopter below

Plus Amanda has offered a 15% off coupon code for use within her shop.
Coupon Code: ECC15 for 15%off an order of at least $20

Up to Speed

It's been a lovely and busy week here in my little world.
Just a quick update of a few recent projects.

Just because we are still in construction mode doesn't mean I can't do a little decorating.
Right:?
I made this cute hanging wreath for our front door.
It was super easy and turned out so great!

I had a few wood slices left over from my chalkboard tags that I created this year.
So I made some lovely ornaments.

Then I won some amazing signs from:

Aren't they super lovely!!!!!
I entered the giveaway on Faith Filled Footsteps.

Today my eldest son and I put together this sign for my youngest (who occasionally insists on being called Batman).  It's a bit funky looking...but thats just our style!!

What have you been up to this week?
