Where I Create 2012

Just thought I'd give you a little sneak peek in my workshop aka The Craft Shack as my family calls it.  I've posted before on the building itself, a quaint wooden shed that my husband and father gutted and reinvented to make it a perfect place for me to be creative and store my endless supplies.  I went all Shabby Chic on this place...pink walls with white trim.  Chocolate brown built in on one side, a large craftsman style table in the middle and a bunch of other white furniture everywhere.  Then about 6 months ago I found an adorable dresser at a secondhand shop here in Fallbrook and finally I had all the furniture I could fit into on "craft shack".  I love creating inside my shack but I think I have the most fun decorating and organizing!

When you first walk into my shack this is what welcomes you.  A vignette that I change around based on my mood and what I've recentely found that I can't bear to part with yet.  My lavender is drying and my favorite quote greets me and puts me in a light hearted mood immediately.

Some of my favorite ways of organizing in my shack.  Mason jars filled with goodies, supplies and finished products waiting to be packaged up for sale.  Mustache tags, clothespins, buttons, spools, ribbon and more get organized and pretty at the same time!

My Stampin Up Ink Pads and a few other supplies in more mason jars.  The pink and white bookcase was from my dear friend Eloise from Junk Fairy
I love it...its a bit chippy and its the perfect size for the spot I have it in.

Now for a cute ending to my cute post.  My most recent card creation using some of my favorite colors from Stampin Up: Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral.  I embossed the coral rectangles with Swiss Dots but you can't see them in my photo.  I used the "Reason to Smile" stamp set.

Hope you enjoyed a little peek into my "craft shack"!  I'm linking up with a few blogs:
