It is a gorgeous morning outside! Slightly overcast still and nice and cool still. Love it! It's still summer but with a bit of June gloom holding on. Since I'm not one for sweltering heat I'm loving this morning!
Last night I was able to get a little creating-on! Finished my card for Mojo Monday & The Paper Players challenges of the week. The theme was "Christmas in July" and the sketch was so inspiring. I'm not 100% sure I like the sponging I applied to everything...it almost popped more without it. But I love to sponge so sponge I did!
Also finally covered my black suitcase for my Transform It Thursday. Want to see my first fabric covered suitcase...check it out here. Plus add your newest transformation, diy item as well.
I used a different fabric on each side. Love it! Went bright and with a 70's twist using some vintage paisley fabric that I have been hoarding for the perfect project. While picking the fabric for my suitcase I did a little de-stash of my fabric. So I spent a few hours ironing and rolling up some Fat Quarters that I'll be offering for sale at my next show. Which of course will be the ever fabulous The Vintage Marketplace!!
Adios!
Jessica, I love the children in the frame and the highlight of the snowflake. So glad you were able to join the Paper Players this week and share this fabulous creation
