Update
Feels like its been a while since my last post.
I'm already working on my projects for 2013.
What are you planning on working on in 2013.
One project I've always wanted to do is a Card Organizer.
Here is a little inspiration for the one I will be creating.
And I plan on creating a card a day...by following along with this blog and a few others.
I'm even contemplating selling the cards and giving the money to charity.
My thank you cards are on Groopdealz today.
Originally $5 now only $2.80.
Grab them...they are going fast.

The Score
I love Christmas!
It's obviously my favorite holiday and this year is no exception.
Over the weekend we were able to do a bit of thrifting and some gifting.
Finished a few of this mini scenes over the weekend.
Picked up the trees from Vintage Bliss and the little ornaments from a local thrift shop.
Then I scored big time with all of these lovelies at one thrift shop in town:
Ruffled Pillow
Gorgeous floral ruffled table runner.
Santa Cupcake Toppers
And an adorable hunter green suitcase!!

Christmas Catch Up
The best gifts at Christmas are the handmade ones.
Last year was hectic and I really didn't create much for Christmas so I had a bunch on my to-do list this year. I was finally able to get some Christmas creating done.
Easy Peasy Christmas Cones
These were so much fun to make and turned out very Pottery Barn-esque.
Paper Star Ornaments
Created with glitter paper, vintage sheet music and fun glittered styrofoam stars.
Simple Bulb Ornaments
I love a simple ornament and a simple tree so I created these for our tree this year.
Clear bulb ornaments adorned with wooden tags that say "JOY" and "HOPE"
Of course even though I've finished these projects I have a bunch more on my to do list.
We will see if I'm able to get them done this year or perhaps they will move onto next years list.
Here are some of the projects & tutuorials:
Mercury Glass Ornaments
Ruffled Tree Skirt
Wine Glass Snowglobes
Curtain Ring Ornaments

Seeing Red
I haven't made any new cards in 3 months and it feels good to create them again.
I needed a few Christmas cards to slip gift cards into so I set to work.
I used tons of Cherry Cobbler...apparently I was seeing Red.
The Paper Players Color Challenge Card:
Using Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler & Whisper White
Plus another card in those colors...I love how cute this one is. But my picture is not so cute...I wasn't able to capture the colors of the card with my camera for some reason.
