Winner Winner

I recently won a gorgeous kit from Cerri from the Little Pink Studio.  It arrived packaged so lovely and I immediately set to work on creating with the items inside the kit.  Inside the kit were bits of vintage lace, millinery, buttons, ribbon and one small wooden hoop.  I had another wooden hoop of the same size and decided that I could use the materials to make two of these gorgeous little hoops.

Checking In

It's a gorgeous overcast Sunday here and just waiting for the marine layer to burn off and then it will be sunny and lovely!  While I wait however I thought I'd share a couple of projects I finished yesterday.

I purchase this suitcase at a Church Rummage Sale for $1...it had someones name written in permanent marker on the front and I couldn't remove it.  So I did the next best thing...I covered it with fabric.

Then I created a simple card for my nephews birthday party this weekend.

Using one of my favorite Stampin Up Sets "Blast Off" and some paper scraps.
